In addition to traditional services, our unique setting on a beautiful 70-acre ranch allows our clinicians to integrate outdoors, nature, and elements of the ranch to enhance motivation, engagement, and treatment.
Outdoor opportunities
Nature, Animals, and Space to Move
Sometimes children, teens, and families need space to breathe and space to move (literally) while working on their well being. Many acres surround our office, allowing us to get outside while talking and learning together. Surroundings filled with green grass, trees, mountains, and birds provide a backdrop that can feel like a mini-retreat. The ranch also brings many opportunities for experiential learning, whether practicing deep breathing while brushing a horse, or practicing a brave new behavior, like putting our hands in some dirt. Therapy and nature can be a great combination for growth.
